REPUBLIC OF PERILO SEARCH AND RESCUE SYSTEM
I. COMMAND AND CONTROL: Coordination of search and rescue efforts is a combined national, provincial, and local responsibility. Basic principles of coordination are as follows:
A. National interagency support for search and rescue missions is coordinated through the National Emergency Operations Center. Overall responsibility for search and rescue is assigned to the Ministry of Extreme Situations.
B. The two Rescue Coordination Centers are the executive agents for search and rescue coordination in their areas of responsibility.
C. Military services, the Perilo Constabulary, other national governmental agencies, provincial and local governments, and volunteer agencies provide resources and on scene commanders to undertake the performance of actual search and rescue work.
RESCUE COORDINATION CENTERS: The Republic of Perilo operates two Rescue Coordination Centers (RCC) as indicated in the table below. Both RCCs serve in national roles and in service specific roles for their operating military service.

II. MILITARY RESOURCES: All of the resources of the military services of the Republic are available for search and rescue response. However, the primary response resources tasked with alert responsibilities are Air Force, Coast Guard, Air Militia, and Naval Militia:

For search and rescue missions, these units are tasked through the Inland Rescue Coordination Center at Douhet Air Base in Glencoe.
