REPUBLIC OF PERILO MINISTRY OF POST AND TELEGRAPH

The Ministry of Post and Telegraph provides and oversees the communications system of the Republic, including postal service, telecommunications, and radio and television.

DEPARTMENTS: The Departments of the Ministry of Post and Telegraph are:

• Postal Service - operates Post Offices throughout the Republic and a postal system for the collection, routing, and delivery of mail.  Also operates a telegraph system that links all Post Offices and provides for the transmission of government and private individual telegrams. 
• Telephone - establishes the telephone and exchange numbering system and operates the National Telephone Company to provide telephone service for government agencies, businesses, and private individuals.
• Public Radio and Television - operates the government radio station, including its international service The Voice of Perilo, and the government television network, and assigns frequencies to and licenses privately operated radio and television stations.
• Governmental Radio Services - manages frequency allocations for governmental agencies, manages the construction of governmental radio system infrastructure, supports military communications requirements, and oversees the amateur radio service including the Amateur Radio Disaster Corps and the Amateur Radio National Traffic System.
