REPUBLIC OF PERILO ORDER OF MERIT FOR CIVIL DEFENSE

CIVILI ALEXI MERITO ORDINA

The Order of Merit for Civil Defense of the Republic of Perilo is bestowed on deserving citizens who perform meritoriously in planning and developing the capabilities of the Republic to protect its citizens from disasters or who perform significant service during responses to disasters.

Grade Requirements Insignia (see note)
Grand Cross (Grandi Kruci) (GKCAM) Awarded for performance of actions of national importance involving civil defense while serving in senior executive positions.  Must have previously received a national order at the grade of Grand Officer. sash badge of the civil defense triangle enameled medium blue within an orange enamel circle with five radiating arms enameled medium blue, rounded at the outer edges, all in gold; sash equal stripes orange, medium blue, and orange; chest star with the badge superimposed on five sets of radiating faceted rays in gold.
Grand Officer (Grandi Ofice-pe) (GOCAM) Awarded for exceptional performance of civil defense duties while serving in senior executive positions.  Must have previously received a national order at the grade of Commander. neck badge of the civil defense triangle enameled medium blue within an orange enamel circle with five radiating arms enameled medium blue, rounded at the outer edges, all in gold; neck ribbon equal stripes orange, medium blue, and orange; chest star with the badge superimposed on five sets of radiating faceted rays in silver.
Commander (Komanda) (KoCAM) Awarded for exceptional or heroic performance of civil defense duties while serving in a position equivalent to Captain, Major, or Colonel or Civil Grades 6, 7, or 8.  Must meet the service requirements for the Gold Medal, and must have previously received a national order at the grade of Officer. neck badge of the civil defense triangle enameled medium blue within an orange enamel circle with five radiating arms enameled medium blue, rounded at the outer edges, all in gold; neck ribbon equal stripes orange, medium blue, and orange
Officer (Ofice-pe) (OCAM) Awarded for superior or brave performance of civil defense duties while serving in a position equivalent to Captain or Major or Civil Grades 6 or 7.  For superior service, must meet the service requirements for the Silver Medal, and must have previously received a national order at the grade of Chevalier.  Also bestowed for participation in a minimum of 50 disaster events. the civil defense triangle enameled medium blue within an orange enamel circle with five radiating arms, rounded at the outer edges, all in silver; ribbon equal stripes orange, medium blue, and orange, centered on the ribbon a large rosette of the same pattern ribbon
Chevalier (Kavalero) (KaCAM) Awarded for commendable performance of civil defense duties while serving in a position equivalent to Lieutenant or Captain or Civil Grades 4, 5, or 6.  For commendable service, must meet the service requirements for the Bronze Medal.  Also bestowed for participation in a minimum of 25 disaster events. the civil defense triangle enameled medium blue within an orange enamel circle within a circle with five radiating arms, rounded at the outer edges, all in bronze; ribbon equal stripes orange, medium blue, and orange
Gold Medal of the Order satisfactory participation in a minimum of 15 disaster events gold medal with civil defense triangle within a circle; ribbon orange with 3 narrow medium blue stripes
Silver Medal of the Order satisfactory participation in a minimum of 7 disaster events silver medal with civil defense triangle within a circle; ribbon orange with 2 narrow medium blue stripes
Bronze Medal of the Order satisfactory participation in a minimum of 3 disaster events bronze medal with civil defense triangle within a circle; ribbon orange with narrow medium blue stripe

Note: All actual awards are conferred as a certificate.  Service in civil defense in wartime is indicated by the addition of crossed swords in bronze, silver, or gold as suspensions for all grades, and the addition of swords in the contrasting metal to the stars of the Grand Officer and Grand Cross grades.
