The Navy maintains the sovereignty of the territorial waters of the Republic and conducts security and maritime combat operations to achieve national objectives.  The Navy operates as two area commands and a headquarters:

RIVER FLOTILLA:  The River Flotilla provides a naval presence on the Big Muddy River (Mega-limo Fluvi), protecting the border of the Republic and assuring the safety and security of river traffic.

COASTAL FLEET:  The Coastal Fleet asserts national soverignty in the coastal zone of the Republic, protects the merchant and fishing fleets and offshore oil installations from hostile acts and piracy, and conducts combat operations in support of national objectives.

Major combatant vessels are named and use the prefix PNN (Perlio Navi-fa Navi).  All Navy vessels have pennant numbers assigned in the following system:
