REPUBLIC OF PERILO MARINE CORPS
The Republic of Perilo Marine Corps provides marine infantry forces for deployment aboard ships of the Perilan Navy, for use as landing troops for amphibious assault, and for the security of naval installations.
The Marine Corps is organized as a augmented infantry company. The Commanding Officer of the Marine Corps holds the rank of Major. Marine detachments aboard ship or performing base defense duties are under the tactical control of the Navy commanders involved. Marine troops performing as amphibious assault troops are under the tactical control of the appropriate element of the joint task force.
