REPUBLIC OF PERILO AERODROME FIRE SERVICE
The Aerodrome Fire Service was established in 1946 as a service of the Ministry of Transportation to provide firefighting coverage for all civilian and military airports in Perilo. Individual Aerodrome Fire Service departments are administered by the agency operating the airport at which they are stationed. The Aerodrome Fire Service provides standards and training, provides centralized maintenance support, and purchases vehicles and equipment to provide a standard approach to airport crash rescue and firefighting.
Currently all airports with 24 hour operations and control towers have airport fire departments. The fire departments provide fire attack, extrication, and emergency medical servcies. Other airports are provided fire protection by the local jurisdiction's fire service.
